Welcome!
Divenire, the Italian word for "to become".
Of course we already are. But are we living fully who we really are deep down? Who we were born to be?
The life cycle of the butterfly is known as the symbol of transformation. For the butterfly, this means transforming from living life as a caterpillar to living life as a butterfly. The butterfly may have been born as a caterpillar, but it was never intended to remain a caterpillar forever. She was born to become a butterfly.
The same goes for us humans. We are born to be butterflies, to fly in freedom, as it were, and to live our life to the fullest, and to fully experience and live who we really are.
Unfortunately, this is not always obvious. Already in the womb, in the first years of life, and throughout our lives, experiences, impressions, rules and beliefs of others and society cause us to adapt, to (unconsciously) suppress emotions or parts of ourselves and hide them deep within, and to go do and think what is expected of us, so we may be accepted and loved.
We develop an idea of who we are and a personality that is further and further away from who we really are deep down. This results in feeling empty, a void, inside, finding no meaning in life, living a life that is far from what we really would like to live. We try to fill that void from the outside, with relationships, work, hobbies, sports, money, we run away from feeling difficult emotions, sometimes escaping into addictions. Again and again we experience similar problematic or dysfunctional situations, we can´t seem to make progress, nothing flows. We feel unhappy and stuck, something prevents us from enjoying life to the fullest, and we don't understand what or why. And eventually, we end up in a depression, burnout, addiction, personal crisis, etc.
A crisis does not have to mean the end. It's an invitation. It can offer us an opportunity to finally take the step to get to know ourselves better again, to heal, to continue to grow as a human being, to finally go into the cocoon, to let go of living life as a caterpillar and to transform, into the butterfly you were born to be
It will be my honour to guide you through your transformation process.
Welcome!
“Depression is like a woman in black. If she turns up, don´t shoo her away. Invite her in, offer her a seat, treat her like a guest and listen to what she wants to say.”
Carl Jung
